As a community hospital we want to ensure that we offer you opportunities to empower you with skills to help you look after yourselves and your loved ones, which is why we are working with local companies and charities help us do that.

See the opportunities we currently have, and how to book them, below.

The Parkinson’s Café In Tarporley – We have moved!

The Parkinson’s café was set up by the Chester and District branch of Parkinson’s UK as a result of a series of meetings to consult people living with Parkinson’s, their families and carers in the Tarporley Area about establishing help and support at a local level. Initial meetings went well and have been supported by a number of local organisations and individuals. The next meeting is on Thursday March 21 2019 from 1.30 -3.30p.m. at the new venue, The Schoolroom, Tarporley Baptist & Methodist Church, High Street, Tarporley. CW6 0AG. This is across the street from the community centre where we held the first meetings. Free car parking is available at the community centre and the church has a small car park.
Regular meetings will then continue on the third Thursday of the Month from 1.30 -3.30p.m in the Schoolroom.
Are you or anyone you know affected by Parkinson’s? Would you like to meet others for a chat? You will receive a warm welcome. In addition we welcome other organisations to share details of their activities and especially anyone interested in volunteering to help run the café or other activities the Branch offers.
