AN URGENT FINANCIAL APPEAL DUE TO CORONAVIRUS
We hope that you and your loved ones are well and coping in these challenging times. Firstly, on behalf of Tarporley War Memorial Hospital I would like to thank you for your continued support. I am however writing to ask you to consider a further financial contribution to help support us during the current Covid-19 pandemic.
The pandemic has put significant pressures on the hospital. At the suggestion of the Primary Care Network and in preparedness for supporting the community, we have invested in additional PPE equipment, as well as implemented new cleaning and safety measures to protect patients and staff all in anticipation of receiving Covid 19 positive patients. We are very proud of what has been achieved by our brilliant team, however this work has been undertaken at our own cost.
Following government guidelines has meant that we have had to reduce our services, which has had a massive impact on the income we receive from those different streams.
Sadly, due to restrictions, all planned fundraising events have also been cancelled. With your support, the team has worked tirelessly to raise funds where possible and I am proud to say that our recent Covid-19 Appeal has already raised an amazing £50,000. We hope that with your continued support we are able to build on this excellent work and reach our target of £100,000, so that the hospital can continue to provide its invaluable service to the community.
The management team is taking all measures deemed possible to safely reduce costs, obtain government support where applicable, and have applied for any available grants.
Tarporley War Memorial Hospital is the only remaining independent charitable hospital in the UK. For more than 100 years, we have provided free healthcare to many patients in our community and now we urgently need the financial support of our loyal supporters to continue the excellent work. We would welcome any support you are able to offer as every penny raised helps.
We continue to take all necessary precautions to protect our patients and staff during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We are closely monitoring government guidelines and this is reflected in the services we are currently providing for our community. For more information about the status of our inpatient and outpatient services, please refer to our website.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01829 732436 to speak to one of the team if you can find some way of donating money, services, equipment, fundraising or any other way of helping us.
Our heart felt thanks.
